The American visa Lottery program.

People from Bangladesh did enjoyed the availability of this American visa lottery program every year till they were not allowed to participate in the draw, in the year 2012 due to high immigration rate to the USA. Now Bangladesh people who are married to foreign spouses (whom were born in eligible countries) only will be allowed to participate in this popular draw, claiming their spouse’s eligibility. If they win with this eligibility claim, they are not allowed to enter in to the USA alone; they must accompany their eligible spouse too on their arrival to get entry at the US border under the DV Lottery program.

Bangladesh born people are currently not allowed to participate in the visa lottery program as was in the previously held programs. The country was declared as ineligible to participate in the draw as it had sent more than 50,000 people within the last 5 year period. This was officially announced for the DV-2013 instructions in English and in the Bangla version.
